Frame Rate | For full length video assets, uploaded video files which are 30 fps or lower (i.e. 23.976, 25, 29.97) will be transcoded and delivered to clients with the native (original) frame rate. For clips and previews, uploaded video files which are not already 29.97 fps will be converted to 29.97 fps during the transcode process. Any uploaded video files which are higher than 30 fps will be converted to 29.97 fps during the transcode process.

Scan Type | Progressive Note: Interlaced video input files are accepted but will be de-interlaced and converted to progressive during the transcode process. The de-interlace conversion to progressive is likely to be better (and more smooth) if handled by the producer, prior to uploading into Media Manager. Interlaced videos will take considerably longer to transcode in Media Manager, due to the conversion process, as well as being invalid for the “accelerated” (faster) transcode mode available for all progressive video files.
